Jeffrey Wayne Bellew (April 20, 1956 – December 9, 2025)
Jeff died in December, over twelve years after his Stage IV lung cancer diagnosis. During those years, he taught so many of us how to live life fully while facing adversity and the unknown. He chased the things he loved — traveling, hiking, paddling, and, of course, cycling — riding over 30,000 miles since his diagnosis. He spent time around the fire with friends, cooked elaborate meals, took spiritual journeys, and listened to music. As he lost capacity, he adjusted to his new reality with humor and grace. And when the end came, he was ready and at peace. It was quite a ride, and I miss him so.
